Phaser 840/850 Printers: Clean the printer for ink smears, and blurry or wavy lines |

Run the Remove Ink Smears procedure from the printer's front panel. This process cleans the printer's internal paper path by running several sheets of paper through it. Be sure to have unused, high quality, bond laser paper in the trays. Do not use coated papers or any other specialty media with this procedure.
Repeat this procedure up to 5 times if needed. You may also need to manually clean some areas of the paper path. Refer to the related documents below for more information. |
